Just Hired: Brian Lechel

Job title: Program Coordinator

Education: Graduated from Saginaw Heritage High School, then went on to Central Michigan University to earn a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree in commercial recreation and facilities management/community leisure services administration with minors in leadership and hospitality.

His new job: “I will be creating and coordinating various leagues and programs, as well as connecting with area schools and other groups informing them of Morey Courts’ group trip options, for example lock-ins and day trips. In addition to these tasks, I also manage the facility two to three evenings each week.”

Mid-Michigan appeal: “Mid Michigan is an excellent area to live and work. I enjoy many recreational activities in the area when I’m not working, such as golf and disc golf, fishing, snow and water skiing. And of course playing basketball, racquetball, tennis, soccer, volleyball and working out at Morey Courts!”
