Hit the [Brighton] Beach

BrightonBeachMemoirsNeil Simon’s “Brighton Beach Memoirs” comes to Gladwin March 11-13 and 19-20, performed at the Gladwin Community Building.

Simon wrote “Brighton Beach Memoirs” about his own childhood, and the play reflects the funny family dynamics of the 1930s. The play has earned numerous awards and nominations, including the Tony Awards, Theatre World Award, Drama Desk Awards and awards from the New York Drama Critics’ Circle. The play does contain some adult content and is not suitable for young viewers.

Tickets to the 8 p.m. shows March 11, 12 and 19 are $10. Dinner performances are March 13 and 20 at 6 p.m. and cost $22 (tickets to dinner shows only available in advance). To reserve tickets call 989-426-2467. For information, call 989-426-5571.
